Brisbane Entertainment Centre
The Brisbane Entertainment Centre was built by the Brisbane City Council as a world class multi purpose facility which formed part of Brisbanes bid for the 1992 Olympic Games. Ownership was transferred to the Major Sports Facility Authority from 1 July 2002. The Centre has been operated since its inception by Ogden IFC (Brisbane) Pty Ltd.
Primarily recognised as a venue to host concerts, family shows and sporting events, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre also specialises in staging corporate events in particular, conferences, seminars, product launches and gala banquets.
Conveniently located in Brisbanes northern suburbs, the Brisbane Entertainment Centre is situated just 16 kms from the Brisbane CBD and a 8 kms from Brisbane Domestic and International airports.
A unique multi-use venue, the Centre is well known for its flexibility, and facilities include:
The Main Arena, with tiered seating providing seating capacities for an intimate setting of 500 people up to maximum of 13,500;
The Sports Centre - a community recreation and competition facility with five sprung timber courts, team change rooms, and seating for up to 2000. The Centre is also available for hire for corporate special events
Numerous Food and Beverage outlets, restaurants, private hospitality lounges and function rooms
Meeting and seminar rooms that can cater for 20-400 guests.
