Darling Downs Zoo | Open Hours & Tickets
The Darling Downs Zoo is Queensland's newest zoo and is situated in a tranquil rural setting on Queensland's beautiful eastern Darling Downs ... about midway between Toowoomba and Warwick.
We are open every day except Christmas Day from 9am to 4pm.
Last admissions are at 3pm. Gates close at 4pm.
The zoo is a sanctuary for wildlife and a breeding centre for endangered species from around the world. Therefore, it is not possible for us to allow entry to any visitor's animals. This includes pets, assistance animals or wildlife in the custody of carers.
Like all outdoor activities, you will require sunscreen, a hat and water bottle. Free sunscreen is available at the Zoo entrance for your convenience. Some parts of the Zoo are more shaded than others so please dress for the weather.
Our paths are outdoor country paths, so bring good, comfortable walking shoes, walking aids and an umbrella if it's going to rain.
