For more than two decades, the Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS) has brought Australia's top culinary experts, winemakers and producers together with tens of thousands of food lovers. In 2026, the country's longest-running and most awarded consumer food event adds two major new experiences to its program: Bakers Alley, a dedicated bakery precinct, and an intimate hands-on Cooking School.
The show draws more than 90,000 visitors nationally each year across its Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane events.
Confirmed talent for 2026 includes Miguel Maestre, Kirsten Tibballs, Brendan Pang, Nat Thaipun, Vincent Yeow Lim, Jane de Graaff and George Georgievski.

Bakers Alley (2026 New Experience)
Conceived with the support of internationally acclaimed pâtissier and chocolatier Kirsten Tibballs, Baker's Alley will bring together some of Australia's most exciting independent bakeries for the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane shows. Each baker will create an exclusive baked masterpiece available only at the show.
Confirmed bakeries include Dröm Bakery, JC Patisserie, Rustica, Amann, Mietta by Rosemary, Tarts Anon, Valentina Pastry Lab, 15 Cenchi, Home Croissanterie, Madame & Yves, and Calle Bakery, with more to be announced.
Award-winning executive chef Andrew Ballard will create a delicious Japanese-inspired Lamington, featuring trending flavours inspired by his time in Japan, made exclusively for the show. This is one treat you simply cannot buy anywhere else.
Cooking School (2026 New Experience)
The new Cooking School offers intimate, ticketed sessions for up to 40 guests, who cook hands-on alongside celebrity chefs in 45-minute classes. Four sessions run daily, and every guest leaves with something they've made.

Free daily tasting sessions led by one of Australia's top sommeliers Shanteh Wale, exploring Australian wine varietals in a relaxed educational setting. Each session features wine you can buy directly from winemakers at the show. You taste 4 x wines in each session and learn about the wine directly from the winemaker themselves.
Wine Pavilions
Tour Australia's major wine regions without leaving the building, tasting wines from the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Clare Valley and Margaret River.
Cheese Corner
Sample and shop from respected cheesemakers, including Pyengana Dairy and Ashgrove Cheese. Cheese Specialist and Educator Valerie Henbest, born and raised in Normandy, France, will host a dedicated cheese, caviar and champagne pairing experience as part of the Cheese Lover Ticket experience
