Gold Coast Football Club | SUNS |

The Gold Coast SUNS put its city on the AFL map in 2011, marking a monumental expansion of the game as the league's first new organisation in almost 20 years.
Since its inception, the SUNS have held strong to what's at its core - deeply connecting with its community and inspiring people to be part of its extraordinary journey.
The SUNS have led the charge in growing football in South-East Queensland, reaching new heights year-on-year with almost 70,000 community and junior football participants in the region in 2023.
Synonymous with some of the most iconic moments of the past decade, the SUNS are continuing to strive for excellence and celebrating what makes the club Uniquely Us.
Finals
In 2025, after 15 seasons, Gold Coast's long wait for its maiden finals appearance arrived, progressing to the semi-finals against Queensland rivals Brisbane after a famous week-one win over Fremantle in Perth. It competed hard against Brisbane (eventual Premiers).
Brownlow Medal
Matt Rowell joined Gary Ablett Jnr as the only SUNS players to win a Brownlow Medal in 2025.
