One of Queensland's most treasured landmarks, the Grand View Hotel, will celebrate its remarkable 175-year history with GV Fest 175 on Saturday 29 August. Proudly sponsored by XXXX, the one-day festival transforms the entire venue, including the car park, into a vibrant celebration of music, food, entertainment and community.

The site on the shores of Moreton Bay was first established in 1851 and has grown into one of the Redlands' most recognisable gathering places. Across generations, the Grand View Hotel has welcomed locals and visitors alike to share good food, great company and memorable occasions, making its 175th anniversary a milestone worth celebrating.

Free daytime festival for the whole family

Festivities begin from 11:00am with free entry to a family-friendly festival featuring live music on the main stage, local market stalls, pop-up bars, food vendors and a dedicated children's zone, ensuring entertainment for visitors of every age.

Whether you're enjoying a relaxed afternoon with family or catching up with friends over great food and drinks, the daytime festival offers something for everyone.

Vanessa Amorosi headlines the evening concert

From 5:00pm, the celebrations continue with a ticketed evening session while the festival atmosphere remains in full swing across the venue.

Australian Idol finalist Hunter Boswell opens the concert from 5:30pm before internationally acclaimed Australian singer Vanessa Amorosi takes the stage at 7:00pm for a special one-night-only performance. Following the headline show, DJ Vanderfunk will keep the party going well into the evening.

Guests looking for a premium experience can secure one of just 100 VIP Marquee tickets. The exclusive package includes four hours of premium food and beverages, featuring a pasta station, charcuterie station, rotisserie station and more.

Supporting the local community

The celebrations will also raise funds for The Cage Youth Foundation, a Redlands-based not-for-profit organisation supporting young people and families throughout the local community.
