The Enchanted Garden 2025

Twinkling lights and colour-washed trees will once again transform Brisbane's Roma Street Parkland into The Enchanted Garden, running from 21 November to 20 December 2025.

Now celebrating its tenth year, this after-dark experience turns the parkland into a glowing maze of illuminated gardens, shimmering pathways and immersive light installations. It's family-friendly, outdoors, and unapologetically Christmassy-where plants, colour and festive sparkle all come together.

Opening hours:
6:30 pm to 10:00 pm (sessions every 15 minutes until 9:15 pm)

Lower-sensory, reduced-capacity sessions run every Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

On your walk you'll be guided by the resident fairies, Willow and Marigold, through four themed zones:

- Celebration Lawn: The Grand Gathering
- Allee Bridge: The Flicker Walk
- The Hub: The Twinkling Tangle
- Spectacle Garden: The Brilliance Bloom

If hunger kicks in, food trucks set up daily on the Celebration Lawn from 5 pm to 9:30 pm, and a licensed bar is on hand for those who fancy a drink. You're welcome to bring your own picnic as well. Access to the Celebration Lawn itself is free.

Set right in Brisbane's CBD, Roma Street Parkland spans 16 hectares of sub-tropical gardens, lawns, playgrounds and walking paths-our answer to big-city green spaces like Hyde Park and Central Park.

This is one of Brisbane's favourite festive traditions, and it's only around for a few weeks. A good chance to wander, look up, and let the lights do their thing.
