Trading Hours are restricted by law..
Australian States (not NSW*), trading is restricted until 1pm. Business may operate after 1pm.
In New South Wales*, trading is restricted for 24 hours (25th April) including alcohol.
*New South Wales - For the first time, strict retail trading restrictions will apply across New South Wales this Anzac Day, forcing most bottle shops to be closed for the entire day. New legislation passed in NSW last year forces major retailers such as supermarkets, shops, bottle shops and alcohol retailers to close for the entire day on April 25, marking a major shift from previous years when trading was allowed after 1pm. Western Australia is the only other state with full restrictions on alcohol trading for Anzac Day.
ALDI - Victoria, ACT, QLD, SA and WA - open, check local store.
BIG W - NT, TAS, and VIC open (reduced hours). SA - Stores will be closed except for Renmark, Port Augusta, Victor Harbor, Murray Bridge, and Mount Gambier open (reduced hours). QLD and WA - All stores will be closed.
Bunnings - Victoria, NT and ACT - open from 1pm. SA and WA - open from 12pm. Tasmania - open from 12.30pm. Queensland - closed. Bunnings Trade Centres will be closed nationally.
Coles - Victoria & ACT - open from 1pm, NT - open after 12pm. Queensland - All stores closed. SA - Most stores will be closed except Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Berri, Port Augusta, Mount Barker, Adelaide Rundle Place, Whyalla, Murray Bridge Green, Mount Gambier, and Victor Harbour. Tasmania - open after 12:30pm. WA - closed, except Vasse, Busselton, Pinjarra, Dunsborough, Margaret River, Karratha, Chinatown, Kununurra, Tom Price, Albany, South Hedland, Orana, Eaton Fair and Busselton Central.
Kmart - Queensland and WA - closed. ACT - open after 1.30pm. Victoria, SA - open after 1pm.
Dan Murphy's - open at 1pm except for ACT which will open at 1.15pm.
Liquorland - Victoria, NT, ACT and Tasmania - open after 1pm. NSQ, Queensland, SA and WA - Most stores closed.
Westfield - Victoria, and ACT - open from 1pm. Queensland, SA, and WA - closed.
Woolworths - ACT, Victoria, and NT - Most stores will open after 1pm. Queensland, SA, and WA - Most stores will be closed on Anzac day. Tasmania - All stores will open after 12.30pm.
