2025 is going to be the biggest and best "Most Wuthering Heights Day".. Ever!

From Melbourne to Perth, Sydney to Wagga Wagga, Brisbane to the Gold Coast - Cathy's and Heathcliff's are gathering at locations around Australia for The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever.

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is an event held at locations around the world where fans (fish people) recreate the music video for musician Kate Bush's 1978 song "Wuthering Heights".

The event's inspiration is Shambush's The Ultimate Kate Bush Experience which took place in 2013 in Brighton, United Kingdom as part of Brighton Fringe created by performance collective Shambush!

High Noon at Sydney Park St Peters, Sat 26th July

On July 26, people all over the world will be gathering in major cities and windy moors in their prettiest red frocks. They will experience the whimsical joy that is the 1978 Kate Bush masterpiece, "Wuthering Heights". They shall dance freely and merrily, frolicking and bounding across the grasses.

Inspired by Shambush's 300 Brighton Kates in 2013, we hope to gather the most Kates ever, again, and re-create the Wuthering Heights experience en masse.

If you would like to join us, please bring:
- Unadulterated joy [mandatory]
- Kate Bush style gown [optional but ideal]
- A positive attitude [mandatory]
NOTE: this is a free event, no registration necessary

:: ON THE DAY there will be several rehearsals before the 'final wuther'.

:: This is a FREE community event run by volunteers and without sponsorship. As we do every year, we will be collecting donations to cover event costs (sound, photography, insurance, videography etc).

Any surplus will be donated to the independent, not-for-profit Women's Legal Service NSW who provide free, confidential legal advice and referrals to women in NSW relating to domestic violence, sexual assault, family law, discrimination, victims support, child protection, human rights and access to justice. https://www.wlsnsw.org.au/.

See you in Milton on Saturday 19th July 2025 for an afternoon/evening of Kate Bush frivolity!

From 2pm at Frew Park. it's our mass 'Wuthering Heights' re-enactment with 150 other fans!

Join us for an afternoon of fun and frivolity as we attempt to fill the park with as many people as we can in Kate Bush red dresses, re-enacting the iconic 'Wuthering Heights' video.

The afternoon will include an introduction and an instructional of the dance moves. Tutorial

After some practice runs, we will perform the routine a few times with our large crowd.
There will be Kate Bush music and the chance to have photos and meet other fans!
As this a fan-run community event, we would appreciate a donation via this page to help cover equipment and expenses.
Donations will remain open online prior to and after the event

Please note: There is a nearby cafe plus toilet facilities. There is limited parking in the area so we encourage you to catch public transport where possible. We recommend entering via Frew Street.

The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever is a wonderful opportunity to gather and recreate Kate Bush's iconic Wuthering Heights filmclip, all while having a silly amount of fun and raising money for the incredible work of Safe Steps Victoria.

This is an all-inclusive event, wihere no skills or experience is required.

Full dance tutorial on the day, prior to performance. Dance can be modified to suit individual capability.
